IHG Says ‘Me-Too’ To Cancellation Penalties

In June, Marriott International announced a new 48-hour cancellation policy, with a one-night payment penalty if you didn’t cancel before then. In July, Hilton followed with their own 48-hour (and in some cases 72-hour) cancellation. Now IHG, which includes Intercontinental, Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza and Kimpton, has switched to a 24-hour cancellation policy.
